Creating a Financial Budget using Workplan Budget

Here, I will explain you about the basic Setup and the navigation for creating a Financial Budget using Workplan Budget.


Once you uploaded the Workplan Budget with Resource Information from MS Project or you have created the Workplan Budget directly into your Project then goto the Financials Tab. Here, do the required setups for the Budget and also make sure to select Source as "Workplan Resources" under Generation Options tab at the time of Adding "Plan Type".

At the time of creating a Plan Version, select "Generate Amounts" from the drop down list. It will copy your complete Workplan Budget into your Financial Budget.

Now, you can edit your Working Financial Budget and baselined it.
